Modern Gardens asked for help solving a tricky space problem for their July mag – and I had designed a garden with a similar problem 1.7m wide x 24m long. Bob is very popular at this time of year. So popular in fact that the flower sellers at New Covent Garden Market are queuing (as I’m taking these pictures) for his beautiful English Hydrangeas. I am doing the flowers for a wedding at Claridges next week and am using his flowers – unless there is a frost or it snows in which case …I’m not good with compromise!
