A lovely day to be planting and taking a few snaps of what’s around the garden. Salvia amistad (and out of focus bee) looking particularly fine and such a striking colour.  A few other interesting textures also made                being outside today fantastic (that and the fact it didn’t rain and wasn’t cold!).

Lovely autumnal colours are abound! Wrap up and get out there! Norwegians have a saying ‘there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!’          

These needed to be done today – some 3 days before the event due to high level security necessary as the Royal Family, Prime Minister and Cabinet in attendance.

A garden we installed and planted in March 2015, and returned to clip the Buxus last week – good to see it flourishing!
